Sleek Business Account Frequently Asked Questions
If we use the Sleek business account, is document capture automated — or do bank statements still need to be submitted?
No, document capture isn't automated by having a Sleek business account. The bank feed/transaction data flows through automatically, but the actual receipts/tax invoices for each transaction still need to be submitted separately to support the entries. We will have access to your pdf bank statements and will not require you to resubmit the bank statements manually.
How would I pay a vendor from the Sleek corporate account — co-working space, a client meal, a phone line? Does it come with a debit card or an app?
Yes to both. The Sleek Business Account comes with a virtual corporate debit card, and there's a Sleek app for viewing transactions. For vendor payments specifically, local transfers go via FAST (instant), MEPS, or PayNow (UEN/QR); international payments go via SWIFT wire transfer (3–5 working days).
There appears to be no way to add bank statements from the Sleek business account — can that be auto-connected?
Yes, it can be auto-connected via direct bank feed into accounting platform, which pulls transactions in daily. This needs to be set up per the bank specific setup guide rather than added manually as a statement upload.
Does the software connect with Wise, or do transactions need to be submitted one by one?
Wise (TransferWise) connects via direct bank feed. Transactions import automatically, not one by one.
Can Sleek help open multiple bank accounts, both virtual and traditional, under the Accounting Essentials plan?
Bank account opening request is under Corp sec services.
