Changing my Accounting Services to Sleek
We are transitioning from a previous accounting provider — should the first month be the first month of any transactions, or the first month Sleek took over?
The first month should be the month Sleek took over the engagement, picking up from the opening balances/closing position handed over by your previous provider — not the entire transaction history from day one.
Can we connect our Accounting software to yours ? Can we connect our bank statement to your systems? Can we connect your business account statements to our accounting software ?
We are using Xero and Sleekbooks. Yes there are certain bank with bank feeds that can be connected to our systems. No currently we cannot connect our system to the client's accounting system.
If we have no Xero and no connected bank, do we upload bank statements into the dashboard manually each month?
Yes, where a direct bank feed isn't available, monthly bank statements need to be submitted manually (via the usual channels — app, email, or WhatsApp) so the team can process them. Hence we encourage a connected bank feed or to use our Sleek Business Account for automation.
