What is a transaction?

Updated 9 months ago by Junie Zhu

A transaction is any document that needs to be verified and reconciled against a cash movement in your corporate bank account, either directly (bank deposit or withdrawal, supplier invoice, receipt, bill) or through an aggregated amount (expense claim).

Examples of transactions may include:

  • A sales/supply invoice
  • A receipt for coffee or a taxi ride taken for business
  • A share capital payment
  • An expense claim reimbursement
  • A bank deposit or withdrawal
  • And many others…
