Letter of Consent for ICA-issued LTVP/LTVP+ holders

For eligible spouses or children of Singapore citizens or PRs holding an LTVP/LTVP+ issued by ICA. The LOC allows the holder to work in Singapore. The employer must apply for the LOC.

Letter of Consent for Dependant’s Pass holders who are business owners

For eligible Dependant’s Pass holders who wish to operate a business.

Letter of Consent for spouses of ONE Pass holder

For eligible DP spouse of an Overseas Network & Expertise Pass holder to work in Singapore as an employee. The employer must apply for the LOC.

To be eligible for an LOC under this route:
  • You are an LTVP/LTVP+ holder who is married to a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR), OR
  • You are holding a LTVP and is an unmarried child under 21 years of a Singaporean or PR.
To be eligible for an LOC under this route:
  • You are a DP holder (main pass is either an Employment Pass (EP) or S Pass holder.).
  • You are a business owner under the following types of business:
    • The sole proprietor of an ACRA registered company
    • A partner of an ACRA registered company
    • A company director and owns at least 30% shares in an ACRA-registered company

    To be eligible for a renewal of the LOC under this route, you will need to hire at least one Singaporean / Permanent Resident who earns at least the prevailing Local Qualifying Salary (currently at $1,400)and receives CPF contributions for at least 3 months.

Generally, the initial LOC application will be approved for one year or up to the validity of the DP whichever is shorter. For subsequent renewals, it is subjected to the discretion of MOM.

To be eligible for an LOC under this route:
  • You are a DP holder (main pass is an Overseas & Networks Expertise Pass (ONE) Pass holder.
  • You would be taking up employment with a Singapore Registered Company as an employee.
Regardless of each route you apply under, your LOC will cease to be valid if your LTVP/LTVP+/DP is cancelled or expires.
